Last Pre-Challenge Task...

WE DID IT!!!!! We have done all our "Pre-Challenge Tasks" to prepare us for the next 4 weeks!

How did you go today setting your Goals?? Mine took me a little while to do. Thinking of 'goals' is kinda hard when put on the spot, but once I got started it just came out! Then it started to turn more into a To-Do List, so I had to stop - and have now created a To-Do List too!! HAHA

Here are MY Goals:

  • I want to feel happy, Calm and Relaxed while at home
  • I want to spend more time Sewing, Scrapbooking and baking with the kids
  • I want an area of the home where I can put a desk
  • I want to organise my pantry and hallway cupboard
  • I always lose everything! {but especially my phone}
  • Something I don't need any more, but have trouble parting with: My kids' baby clothes, toys and 'stuff'
I also added these to my Goals List:

  • Become more organised
  • Get through this Challenge
  • Maintain my home once Challenge is over
  • Make and Implement a Home Management Binder
  • Keep the kids involved and make sure they do their chores
  • Print and Display our wedding photos

Added later by Mr Mister so not pictured
  • Date Night

My Goals
I also got my sorting boxes done! I had some plastic 50 litre tubs making a mess on the back patio, so thought I would use them! I even made some labels!!!

What do you think?

I laminated them and stuck them on with sticky tape.  I was going to just write on some paper with a Sharpie, but figured I would be more inclined to use them if they were pretty! Cuz I'm a girly and and that's how I roll!!

As a little thank you to those of you that are joining and supporting me on this journey to discover my house, I have given you links (further down) to download and print these labels for yourself {if you would like to} !

No excuses now!!! All ready for Challenge 1!!

I am really looking forward to the Challenge, maybe even a little excited, but am slightly anxious at the same time!  I mean, what if I don't get it all done? Kat {The organised Housewife} says, that's its perfectly fine if unable to finish, just do as much as we can manage, yet I would feel a sense of failure if I weren't able to get through it....

There is a printable for Day 1, The Day 1 Checklist. Download and print it now so you will be prepared for tomorrow!!  I will also implementing to new routine tomorrow, which means a bright and early start for me! As soon as this gets published I will be heading to bed {but I'm not tired yet}. I apologise its so late, I have had a few Internet issues, and interruptions whilst trying to get this written...

Well good luck everyone {and wish me luck} for a productive Day 1!! My kitchen is a BOMB SITE!! I haven't even done tonight's dishes, so tomorrow will be full on!  I'm not looking forward to taking and sharing the "Before" photo *gulp*.
